Located in the heart of Kensington Farms is the Midwests largest rain garden. At over four acres, the rain garden meanders through the community serving the dual purpose of 1) improvement of soil infiltration and run-off and; 2) recreating a natural habitat for the enjoyment of residents, attracting native species such as butterflies, wildflowers and hummingbirds. Future trail expansion will traverse the rain garden.
